The Advanta Championships of Philadelphia, also known as the Virginia Slims of Philadelphia, was a WTA Tour tennis tournament played in Philadelphia, United States, indoors, on carpet from 1991 through 2000, on hard courts from 1971 through 1979 and from 2003 through 2005. The tournament was classified as a Tier II event in 1991-1992, Tier I event from 1993 to 1995, and Tier II from 1996 to 2005.
